Why I choose Chick -fil-a!!!

Tonight was a kids’ night at our favorite restaurant..... Chick-fil-a! The place plays out like that song from Cheers. I want to go where everyone knows my name, calls me sir and says "my pleasure". Man I'd hate to be the guy who gets caught not using that term 50 times a day. One of the girls tonight was so used to being nice that she knocked over some towelettes behind me while I was in line and realized afterwards that she had apologized to the counter. I mean I have never, ever walked into a Chick-fil-a and had a bad experience. Never have I walked in there and felt like I was at McDonalds with some rude person behind the counter using these terms..."yeah"...."what's up"....."What Chu wants"..... I once had to speak to a manger because the girl on the intercom got frustrated with me and I heard her say in the background "what's wrong with these people." Really?

I love the fact that the place is always clean, the food is great and they hide the ketchup behind the counter. I also think the guy who invented Chick-fil-a sauce needs to go down in the record books next to Dr. Pepper (the man) and the inventor of ice cream. Did I mention that the food is always the best quality and you never have to worry if the meat is "all natural white meat" because it's real chicken, not some mechanically separated patty.

I really love kids' night because I get to sit at my table and drink my world's best milkshake and let my kids run around and act nuts. They have hand sanitizer for kids leaving the play area for crying out loud, I mean it's just that clean of a place. They had a sundae bar so kids to make their own ice cream and do some kind of craft. I also love the fact that they fill your drinks and take your trash, and you don't have to tip!

But probably most of all I respect the values of Chick-fil-a, because they are Christian? Because if (don't strike me down for this) when Jesus comes back and decides to break bread it would be with sweet tea and waffle fries instead, no doubt in my mind?!?!?!

I think it's mainly because there values can reflect on any religion, way of life, creed, or race. They are closed on Sunday so no one is forced to work when they can spend time with family despite the "profit" they lose. Making sure they donate huge amounts of money to great causes instead of some corporate waste. The fact that you can own one for 5 grand! Taking pride in their operation and people and making sure that the customer is respected. They choose to stand by their beliefs when other chastise and hate them for not having the same ones; and understanding that profit and revenue are nothing if there are no principles behind them. I am always proud I eat at Chick-fil-a. (We are however protesting the fact that they dropped the cheesecake off the menu!!!)

I will stand by Chick-fil-a till the day they close up shop and I'll do everything in my power to be loyal and never fool with the other guys.... But the main reason I choose Chick-fil-a and put an "I love Chick-fil-a" bumper sticker on my van is for the Chick-fil-a sauce.... No secret there!

"so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11
