Who do you serve?

I was on the train to New York this afternoon and its not too often that you get to see all the scenery while traveling. Unless you're the passenger in the car that is. I'm usually the captain and I do a lot of driving! But besides all that, I got to sit back and see first hand human ingenuity and craftsmanship at a it's best! The houses, highways and landmarks. All the skyscrapers in a large city and all the bridges and tunnels used to get people there. Just the history behind it all and the thought and planning that goes into it. It's truly amazing and awe inspiring.

The Secret to Successfully not being like me!

Selfishness can drive you to do some things in life that in the long run flat out hurt. If I could take it all back I would have chosen to be more giving and done less taking. If God is so forgiving and we have no condemnation in Christ then why is it still so painful? Sometimes the pain out ways the joy. I don't think it is supposed to be like that but I guess that's just the devil speaking. Christ loves us (which is awesome)there's no doubt about it, but I know when I have to stand before him and explain my life it's not going to be pretty. I'd list my life here and now but There is no need.

Do you have YOUR air freshener?

The other day I was in an undisclosed popular Christian bookstore and I came across a Jesus Christ air freshener and I thought to myself "what have we become?"

WARNING!!! You do not want to read this!

Let me warn you now - I am going to say some things that might make you mad. I don't care!    God has been moving my heart all year, and today I had the opportunity to explain somethings to a couple guys and as I did I started to realize that what I am preaching I'm not truly living. My Christmas was amazing and I love the joy my family gets from it, but is it possible to get the same joy from giving to those in need rather than ourselves? But I was also disappointed in myself because I vowed earlier this year to make a change yet I fell back into the same old trap that the Devil has set. I am meant to follow Christ in my life and put God first in everything I do. But i'm not.      Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be born in a manger, but not the nice pretty one you see in the nativity scenes. He lived his first 30 years poor studying what we call the old testament and became a carpenter from Nazareth. One sta...
