The secret to my SUCCESS (issue # 5) Understanding God's purpose

What if I told you God has a plan for your life and all you have to do his follow the instructions? Would you do it? God does have a plan for our life but it is nothing like you want it to be. I hear a lot of people complain about how God doesn't answer prayers, and how can a loving God allow such things in this world. Honestly I have no idea. It's beyond my comprehension to understand the who, what, when, where and why's. The instruction book of life does come with a "decoder ring" though, it's called the Holy Spirit. In which God lives in you and through you to guide you. But this decoder ring comes with a few requirements. Humility is one for example, surrendering yourself to knowing that you are fallen and you need a savior, someone to rescue you. So what if you have survived life this far on your own. Don't you fell empty inside when your all alone? isn't that why you need to find fellowship in others and you constantly seek some kind of fulfillment that never seems to last?
Life is not as difficult as we make it out to be. We just get blinded by the ways of the world and we find ourselves submitting to idols and things that are not of God's ways. Put it into a simple perspective...God created the world, man screwed it all up, so he sent him son to die FOR YOU so all the bad things you have done could be erased and you could live an eternal life in heaven, FREE of charge. Why is that such a bad thing? Why question it? Because in return God asks you to love him and no other? Because your so selfish that you realize Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself? But is it really that hard to do? Or is it the one people fear the most....The church only want my money? (sorry but that's God's money!!!) Don't be fooled by mankind's selfish need for indulging in "the world." Don't let society tell you that you have to have some kind of whacked out lifestyle to be happy....nice car.....nice house....expensive clothes....Gadgets and getting drunk and "enjoying" life......That's not "living." We were meant for so much more than the world's guilty pleasures. Understanding God's plan for you life is simple, he wants you to live for him which ultimately means to live for others. You will never find your way in life until you humble yourself and realize YOU are only so important, YOU can only do so much for YOU. That empty feeling you have is the void in your life that should be filled with love and compassion. Jesus wasn't just a good man who lived a good life. Jesus was "the man!" The one who lived "the life!" He poured love out and died so we could find our way in a darkened world. He was everything we are not, yet need to aspire to be. If your lost and you can't seem to understand the plan God has for your life and why things are the way they are; well seeking salvation in the love of Jesus Christ is the Secret to Understanding God's purpose for your life....You are never alone because he is always with you....and he loves you no matter what you are or do....

amen sir!!! This is a good devotional message even for Christians.
